My last morning in the park - for this trip, that is! I jumped out of the shuttle at Court of the Patriarch's. The sun was hitting the tops of some of the peaks while the area along the river was still cast in shade. The contrasts were beautiful, and I decided to just walk back to the visitor center from the Court of the Patriarch's, traipsing down the empty road and then the Pa'rus Trail. Sunshine, shadows, more sunshine... Walking along the empty road, wandering down by the river, listening, looking...
