Yarmouth visions: houses, harbor, lighthouse : Yarmouth visions: houses, harbor, lighthouse>>> Click for other So near and yet so far away - September 2006, Maritime provinces, or Travel galleries.Houses, harbor, lighthouse - that may seem like an odd mixture of photos, but taken together they encompass my experience in Yarmouth at the beginning and end of my tour of western Nova Scotia. Most of the shots are of scenes around Yarmouth, but there are also several from the Guest-Lovitt B&B - a Model T, and some photos of a few of the beautiful dolls scattered throughout the house. The light shown at the beginning and end of the gallery is the Cape Forchu light. Interested in words too? Read about my trip in my journal.

Acadia National Park, Maine : Acadia National Park>>> Click for other So near and yet so far away - September 2006, Maritime provinces, or Travel galleries.There was a reason for my taking the ferry from Bar Harbor to Nova Scotia beyond the shorter ferry ride - it was a way for me to fit in a visit to Acadia National Park. Just a day plus a few hours, but it satisfied my need to ride Park Loop Road yet again. Interested in words too? Read about my trip in my journal.
